Goodidja Productions is a production company run by, for and with a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We seek to entertain, inform and educate Indigenous and non-Indigenous audiences about the issues that matter to Indigenous Australians.
Our work ranges from documentaries and feature films through to television-specials for all of the Australian networks as well as for international distribution. We also seek to engage our audience through our outreach programs and our work to build pathways for Indigenous artists to show their talents to the world.

Alec Doomadgee is an Aboriginal media personality & commentator, activist, respected leader and advocate for Aboriginal rights. He is highly regarded amongst
his people and peers as aTribal Lore man and Warrior for the “Knowledge Keepers”.
He began his career in radio, later breaking into television, acting, and became a film producer and director, more recently Alec became a much sort after motivational speaker, Emcee and mentor. Alec starred in the award winning TV series Redfern Now (2012) opposite Leah Purcell and co-presented the ABC3 series On the Edge (2010) and starred in “Cleverman” TV series in 2017. He hosted music TV show Volumz for NITV and has become a well-respected and much loved TV personality among Aboriginal people.
In May 2015, Alec performed Street Theatre with protest artists Richard Bell at the famous Venice Biennale, Italy. Following this, Alec came back to give a TEDx talk to a packed out Concert Hall at the Sydney Opera House and a global audience via a live internet stream.Alec conceptualised, Produced and Directed his first documentary feature film, Zach’s Ceremony. It has gone on, to tour the worlds Film Festival circuit in 2016 and 2017, winning awards at Sydney Film Festival, Melbourne Film Festival and Byron Bay Film Festival.

Amy Doomadgee has been working in the Australia music industry for the past 11 years. She started out working with one of the biggest promoters in the country, Rob Potts. She has established herself as an efficient, professional, hard working music industry identity and business woman with a lot to offer here in Australia and abroad.
Amy started at Rob Potts Entertainment Edge in Oct 2007 as the booking assistant/PA to Rob’s company in Sydney. Over the years Amy’s role at Entertainment Edge grew and evolved into her having a key role in all aspects of running and operating the company’s major events, working under extreme pressure and a tight schedule.
Festivals that Amy has been involved with over the past 6 years are as follows; CMC Rocks the Snowys 2008 to 2009, CMC Rocks North QLD 2010 & 2013 and CMC Rocks the Hunter 2010 to 2013 where she worked as the backstage Manager and Artist liaison. Amy has booked and toured artist to the Gympie Muster 2011 to 2013, Deni Ute Muster 2012 to 2013, Deni Blues & Roots festival 2013 and the Byron Bay Blues & Roots festival.
